ACCEPTING A SETTLEMENT PAYMENT OF $14,948.34 FROM
BLUE SKY AVIATION FOR FBO FEES
WHEREAS, Blue Sky Aviation is a commercial tenant of the Town of Leesburg at the
Leesburg Executive Airport; and
WHEREAS, Blue Sky Aviation is an aircraft sales business and subject to FBO fees as
cited in Town Code 2.1-6; and
WHEREAS, Blue Sky Aviation has paid FBO fees for 1997 through 2003 which were
calculated on the company's annual gross net; and
WHEREAS, town staff recommended, and Blue Sky Aviation agreed to, applying the
BPOL apportionment methodology to calculate the FBO fees for years 2000 through 2003; and
WHEREAS, the resulting FBO fee due the town is $14,948.34; and
WHEREAS, town staff recommends accepting the settlement payment and adoption of
this resolution.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
town shall accept a $14,948.34 payment from Blue Sky Aviation as settlement of FBO fees for
the years 2000 through 2003.
