APPOINTING COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES TO THE JOINT
COMMISSION ON THE WESTERN TRANSPORTATION CORRIDOR
ESTABLISHED BY THE COUNTY OF LOUDOUN BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to work cooperatively with the Board of
Supervisors of Loudoun County on transportations issues; and
WHEREAS, the County of Loudoun Board of Supervisors has established a joint
commission to ensure the town is adequately represented in the decision making process
regarding the Western Transportation Corridor; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has been requested to appoint three Council Members to
serve on the joint commission regarding the Western Transportation Corridor.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that:
Council Members Femando "Marty" Martinez, David Schmidt and Mervin Jackson will
represent the Leesburg Town Council on the joint commission regarding the Western
Transportation Corridor that has been established by the County of Loudoun Board of
Supervisors.
