Hippen moved to approve the minutes of the February regular meeting. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Eilderts moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report for February. Hippen seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Eilderts moved to approve the following bills for payment. Scheirer seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Karen Mennenga, Library Director, presented the Library Report. Greg Winger, Fire Chief, presented the Fire Department Report. Mark Wiltfang informed the Council that the Fire Association received $6,000 from the Grundy County Community Foundation and $26,500 from Black Hawk Gaming for the purchase of new SCBA units. Nathan Vogel, Public Works, presented information regarding the replacement of the sand filters at the pool and 2018 street repairs. At 8:10 p.m. the Mayor Pro Tem declared that this was the time and place for a public hearing on the FY 2019 Budget. Being there were no oral or written objections the Mayor Pro Tem closed the Public Hearing at 8:15 p.m. Eilderts moved to approved Resolution 03-2018 a resolution adopting the FY 2019 Budget. Minteer seconded the motion. Roll call of votes. All ayes, motion carried. Minteer moved to purchase 50 chairs and a chair cart for the Memorial Building. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Eilderts moved to approve donation of $1,000 for the Wellsburg Daze Fireworks. Minteer seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Eilderts moved to approve liquor license for the Meadowbrook Golf Course. Hippen seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Eilderts moved to adjourn the meeting. Minteer seconded the motion.
