AUTHORIZING THE LEASE AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN PETROLEUM
HELICOPTERS, INC. dba AIRCARE MEDEVAC AND THE TOWN OF LEESBURG
FOR THE LEESBURG EXECUTWE AIRPORT
WHEREAS, Petroleum Helicopters, Inc. dba AirCare Medevac has made application to the airport
commission in order to locate and operate an air ambulance service at the Leesburg Executive Airport; and
WHEREAS, the airport commission and town staff have determined that the company meets the minimum
standards for operating such business at the airport; and
WHEREAS, the company desires a formal relationship with the town; and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement satisfactory to both parties has been established for office space in the new
terminal building; and
WHEREAS, the term of the lease is for 5 years; and
WHEREAS, the total area rented is 827 square feet, and the annual rent is $48,012.00; and
WHEREAS, the interim airport director and the airport commission recommend adoption of this
resolution.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia hereby authorizes the
Town Manager to execute the lease agreement by and between Petroleum helicopters, Inc. dba AirCare Medevac
and the Town of Leesburg for the Leesburg Executive Airport in a form acceptable to the Town Attorney.
