AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 2002-198 AND 2003-117 PERTAINING TO
APPOINTMENTS MADE TO THE STANDING RESIDENTIAL TRAFFIC
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Standing Residential Traffic Committee was established on February 13,2001
by Council Resolution No. 2001-17; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2001-17 states that members of this committee are appointed to
terms not to exceed two years; and
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to town boards and commissions; and
WHEREAS, on December 10, 2002, Council adopted Resolution No. 2002-198 appointing
Gabriella S. Kelemen to the Standing Residential Traffic Committee to fill an unexpired term; and
WHEREAS, on July 22, 2003, Council adopted Resolution No. 2003-117 appointing Sandra Lee
Kane to the Standing Residential Traffic Committee to fill an unexpired term; and
WHEREAS, both resolutions incorrectly listed the expiration of term as June 30, 2006.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
Town Council Resolution 2002-198 and Resolution 2003-117 are hereby amended to reflect the
correct term expiration date of June 30, 2004 for the appointments of Gabriella S. Kelemen and Sandra
Lee Kane to the Standing Residential Traffic Committee.
