The above referenced property has city liens totaling $434.62, city bill #'s 15142, 15143 and 15160. We had previously offered this property for sale for a number of years, but had no buyers. This year Habitat for Humanity purchased the property. The County abated the tax bills for all years not covered by the sale price; the abatement included the liens, as these properties are now tax exempt. Eventually, the properties will be turned back into productive taxpaying entities. The money we collected at the sale was only enough to pay tax and liens for the years 1998, 1997 and 1996. Enclosed you will find the original Special Tax Bills on the properties which are now released from the City's tax lien books.
