AUTHORIZING A TIME EXTENSION FOR COMPLETION OF PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVING PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES
FOR POTOMAC STATION SECTIONS 2AB, 2AB-l, 2CD, 2EF, 2GH, 3AB,
4, 4 WATER & SEWER EXTENSION PLAN, AND 6A
WHEREAS, Goose Creek Communities, L.L.C., the developer of Potomac Station Sections
2AB, 2AB-l, 2CD, 2EF, 2GH, 3AB, 4, 4 Water & Sewer Extension Plan, and 6A has not completed
all the required public improvements in accordance with the approved construction drawings and town
standards within the two-year period agreed to in the contract for public improvements and previously
approved time extensions; and
WHEREAS, the developer has requested a time extension to complete the public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, this subdivision is in Loudoun County and the town's bonded improvements are
water and sanitary sewer only; and
WHEREAS, corporate surety bonds from The Gulf Insurance Company in the amount of
$20,550.20 for Section 2AB; in the amount of $16,137.84 for Section 2AB-l; in the amount of
$29,856.64 for Section 2CD; in the amount of $9,516.79 for Section 2EF; in the amount of
$11,791.12 for Section 2GH; in the amount of $21,860.19 for Section 3AB; in the amount of
$42,118.40 for Section 4; in the amount of $1,616.12 for Section 4 Water & Sewer Extension Plan;
and in the amount of $12,377.09 for Section 6A were provided by the developer to guarantee the
installation of public improvements; and

IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVING PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES
FOR POTOMAC STATION SECTIONS 2AB, 2AB-l, 2CD, 2EF, 2GH, 3AB,
4, 4 WATER & SEWER EXTENSION PLAN, AND 6A
WHEREAS, the town's Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends time
extensions to June 30, 2005; and
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The corporate surety bonds from The Gulf Insurance Company in the amount
of $20,550.20 for Section 2AB; in the amount of $16,137.84 for Section 2AB-l; in the amount of
$29,856.64 for Section 2CD; in the amount of $9,516.79 for Section 2EF; in the amount of
$11,791.12 for Section 2GH; in the amount of $21,860.19 for Section 3AB; in the amount of
$42,118.40 for Section 4; in the amount of $1,616.12 for Section 4 Water & Sewer Extension Plan;
and in the amount of $12,377.09 for Section 6A are approved to guarantee the installation of public
improvements in Potomac Station Sections 2AB, 2AB-l, 2CD, 2EF, 2GH, 3AB, 4, 4 Water & Sewer
Extension Plan, and 6A.
SECTION II. Time extensions to June 30, 2005 for completion of the public improvements
are approved.
