RESOLUTION: 2004-129 ADOPTED July 27, 2004
A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE THOMAS BALCH LIBRARY
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to town boards and commissions; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Thomas Balch Library Commission: and
WHEREAS, Mayor Umstattd has considered parties interested in serving on the Thomas Balch
Library Commission.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that James P.
Roberts is appointed to the Thomas Balch Library Commission for a term to expire June 30, 2006.
