AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND DISCONTINUING A
SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT OVER A PORTION OF PROPERTY ADDRESSED AS 3519 BENNETT
LANE IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI.
WHEREAS, it has been shown to the Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, that the owners of
3519 Bennett Lane in the City, have petitioned the City Council to vacate a sanitary
sewer easement; and
WHEREAS, it has further been shown that it would not inconvenience the public or the citizens of the
City to discontinue the sanitary sewer easement for public use as described in Section 1
of this Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, hereby declares it necessary,
reasonable and proper to discontinue as a sanitary sewer easement the area described as a portion of
ro e
p p rty addressed as 3519 Bennett Lane in the City of Jefferson, Missouri and forever vacate the
following described sanitary sewer easement in said City:
A 20.00 foot wide strip of land across part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast
Quarter of Section 26, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole
County, Missouri, more particularly described in Exhibit A
Section 2. The statutory right of reversion in the owners of the abutting property is hereby
confirmed, as is provided by the laws of the State of Missouri, and the Mayor and the Clerk of the City are
hereby authorized to execute all necessary instruments required to confirm the reversionary rights of the
owners of property abutting on the area vacated, as described in Section 1 of this ordinance, in the right
of way vacated.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage.

PORTION OF 20' PERMANENT SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT TO BE VACATED (B-633, P-23)
A 20.00 foot wide strip of land across part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 26,
Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, the centerline being more
particularly described as follows:
From the northeast corner of said Section 26: thence ST30'18"W, along the Section Line, 524,87 feet to a
point on the southerly right—of—way line of Missouri State Route B; thence N71°54'57"W, along the southerly
right—of—way line of said Missouri State Route B, 123.69 feet; thence S13°45'25"E, 85.04 feet; thence
S4006'02"W, 190.12 feet; thence S82'54'46"W, 105.90 feet to a point on the centerline of an existing 20
foot Sanitary Sewer Easement, as described in Book 633, page 023; thence along the centerline of said 20
foot Sanitary Sewer Easement the following courses: N23.55'54"E, 11.67 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of
the following described centerline; thence N23°55'54"E, 89.11 feet; thence N4759'1 1"E, 212.41 feet to the
point of termination, being a point that bears S4759'1 1"W, 10.56 feet from the southerly right—of—way line
of Missouri State Route B.
