RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF TIFFIN,
IOWA TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR A TRANSPORTATION PROJECT STPN-6-7(78)-2J-52
WHEREAS, THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA IN JOINT COOPERATION WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PROPOSES TO ESTABLISH OR IMPROVE AN
EXTENSION OF PRIMARY ROAD NO. US 6 WITHIN THE CITY OF TIFFIN, JOHNSON
COUNTY, IOWA.
THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED THE City of Tiffin, Iowa will design, let, inspect and
administer construction of the primary highway project in accordance with the project plans and
DOT standard specifications. Total estimated costs of project at $1,436,139 including the estimated
DOT share of $370,731. Upon completion and properly documented billing, DOT will reimburse
City for DOT share of costs.
MOTION by Councilperson Mark Petersen seconded by Councilperson John Wright
To adopt and approve Resolution 2008-34 with the Iowa Department of Transportation.
