A RESOLUTION: ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, RELEASING THE
PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE AND APPROVING A MAINTENANCE
GUARANTEE FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AT THE REHAU
HEADQUARTERS EXPANSION AND THE SANITARY SEWER
EXTENSION
WHEREAS, REHAU Incorporated, the developer of the REHAU Headquarters Expansion and
the Sanitary Sower Extension has completed the public improvements in accordance with approved plans
and town standards and these have been inspected and approved; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends accepting the public
improvements and approving a maintenance guarantee for the REHAU Headquarters Expansion and the
Sanitary Sewer Extension.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The cash bonds in the amount of $130,000.00 for the Headquarters Expansion;
and $39,200.00 for the Sanitary Sewer Extension are released, and new securities in a form approved by
the town attorney for maintenance guarantees in the amount of $6,500.00 for the Headquarters Expansion;
and $1,960.00 for the Sanitary Sewer Extension are approved, and shall be in effcet for a period of one
year from this date.
SECTION II. This release is contingent upon delivery of a properly executed insmnnent
conveying unto the town all such improvements and easements free of any liens or charges.
