A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT AND APPROVING A PERFORMANCE
GUARANTEE AND WATER AND sEWER EXTENSION PERMITS FOR
THE ROSEBROOK SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Centex Homes, the d~cloper of thc Rose, brook Subdivision, has requested approval
of a corporate surety bond from the Continental Insurance Company in th~ amount of $538,069.00 to
guarantee the public improvements; and
WHEREAS, thc Director of Enginee~ and Public Works recommends approval of a contract for
installation of public improvements and ~ce of a performance guarantee for thc Rosebrook
Subdivision.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by thc Council of thc Town of L~esburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The town manager shall execute thc contract for public improvements for thc
improvements shown on the plans approved by thc Director of Engineering and Public Works for the
Roscbrook Subdivision.
SECTION H. The extension of municipal water and sewer for the Rosebrook Subdivision is
approved in accordance with Sections 15-9 and 19-18 ofthc Town Code.
SECTION m. The corporate surety bond in a form approved by the town attorney from thc
Continental Insurance Company in the amount of $538,069.00 is approved as security to guarantee
installation of the public improvements shown on plans approved by the Director of Engineering and Public
Works for the Rosebrook Subdivision.
