Thomas Balch Library Will Be Closed This Weekend Due to
Mechanical Problems
Leesburg, VA (June 22, 2012, 2:00 p.m.) – The Thomas Balch Library will be closed for the
remainder of today and all day on Saturday, June 23rd, and Sunday, June 24th, due to
mechanical problems with the Library’s air conditioning system. The Library may be closed on
Monday, June 25, 2012, depending on the status of the needed repairs.
The Town of Leesburg apologizes for any inconvenience this unexpected closure may cause
Library patrons. For more information, please contact the Town Manager’s Office at 703-771-

owned and operated by the Town of Leesburg. A designate Underground Railroad research site,
the Library’s collections focus on Loudoun County, regional and Virginia history, genealogy,
