HILLSBOROUGH PLAIN RUG BOARD FETING July 14, 1983 Minutes Members present: Martin, Oakley, Cannity, Cox, Brody, Goodwin., Dorward and Sheffield -Chairman. Others present: Jack Payne. Item 1. The Town Board set a date for a Public Hearing on the Revisions of Sections 9 and 10 on August 2, 1983. The rezoning requests did not came in as expected. Discussion of the Lloyd property at Corbin and Churtan was held. Cannity made the motion that the Planning Board Chairman inform the Town Board that the Planning Board feels the Town Board acted inappropriately in acting on Mr. Ben Lloyd's request for rezoning and that the section of the Zoning Ordinance which specifies the procedure' for amendment to the Ordinance, Section 17, be cited. The motion was secalded by Martin and passed unanimously. Since Sections 8 and 11 of the proposed revisions are not yet typed; additional time is needed. Goodwin suggested that Sections 8 and 11 should be considered with the other sections which her committee has worked on as a package, so that Sections 13 and 14 should not go to Public Hearing separately. Mobile Hare Section and Multi -family Section also will need presentation to the full Planning Board, so the consensus was that the revisions were not ready for Public Hearing. Cox made a motion that the Town Board be notified that the Planning Board isn't ready for a Public Hearing on August 2, 1983. Dorward seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Item 5 concern about the Kenan Oil Tank was considered and agreement was reached that it should be checked by the Zoning Officer for the setbacks and appropriate action taken. Item 6 was added to the agenda. The three mobile hares at the northwest corner of Nash and King Streets were discussed. The first mobile hcme on the lots was pulled in without a permit so it was placed on the lot illegally. All three still lack skirting. The Board is very concerned that this problem be cleared up, and that the Zoning Officer work on this. Discussion of another possible violation of the Ordinance took place. The three nxbbile hares an Latimer Street are possibly not on individual lots. Oakley and Martin do not think that the mobile homes are on individual lots, and they want the issue checked. Jack Payne said that he had been unable to do the necessary work on his mobile have parks due to health problems. He was encouraged to get the work done as soon as possible. The meeting was adjourned.
