A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A STREET RESURFACING PLAN FOR FY2005
WHEREAS, the FY2005 budget appropriated $499,850.00 for meet repairs; and
WHEREAS, in a m~orandum dated July 29, 2004 and amended on September 17, 2004, the Director
of Engineering and Public Works has re~mamead~d the following streets be resurfaeed:
Name of Street and Limits
Loudotm Street (Church Street to Liberty Street)
South King Street (Royal Street to Town Branch)
North Street (King Street to Liberty Street)
West Market Street (King Street to Thomas Balch Library)
West Market Street (Catoetin Circle to West Corporate Limits)
Catoctin Circle (West Market Street to Dry Mill Road)
Edwards Ferry Road (Woodberry Road to Catoetin Circle)
Plaza Street (Marshall Drive to Rust Drive)
Catoctin Circle (Between Edwards Feny Road and Market Street)
Rte. 15 By-pass (Edwards Ferry Road to Fort Evans Road - Northbound Lanes)
Rte. 15 By-pass (Fxlwards Ferry Road to Battlefield Pkwy. - Northbound Lanes)
Rte. 15 By-pass (Battlefield Pkwy. to North Corporate Limits - North and Southbound Lanes)
South King Street (Oreenway Drive to Governors Drive)
Sycolin Road (Tavistock Drive to South Corporate Limits)
Belmont Drive (Between Lafayette Place and Valley View Avenue)
Valley View Avenue (Between Dry Mill Road and Prospect Drive)
Church Street (Between East Market Street and Cornwall St.)
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Street Resurfaeing Program outlined in a memorandum to the Town Manager dated July 29, 2004
and amended on September 17, 2004 in the priority listed, is approved. A copy of such memorandum is
attached hereto.
