A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, each year the Town of Leesburg declares surplus equipment and vehicles
for disposal; and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager is authorized to advertise and sell surplus equipment and
vehicles with the exception of items to be donated to certain volunteer organizations in
accordance with the procedures implemented by the Finance Department; and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Police Citizens Support Team, Inc. has requested the donation
of a 1994 GMC minivan vehicle, which is intended to be declared surplus property for disposal.
THEREFORE, ILESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The Town Manager is authorized to donate this 1994 GMC minivan vehicle to the
Leesburg Police Citizens Support Team, Inc. once it has been declared surplus property for
