A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON,
CALIFORNIA, REALLOCATING CURRENT YEAR COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FROM ANDERSON PARK
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD PRIDE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the project currently budgeted in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
2022-2023 Annual Action Plan as Anderson Park Improvements will not be initiated in the 2022-2023
program year; and
WHEREAS, funding has been included for the Anderson Park Improvements project in the
approved 2023-2024 Annual Action Plan; and
WHEREAS, there is sufficient demand for the Neighborhood Pride Program to justify increasing
the funding allocation for that program; and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to reallocate funding from Anderson Park Improvements to the
Neighborhood Pride Program within the 2022-2023 Annual Action Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The total sum of $220,000.00 in Community Development Block Grant funds shall be
transferred from Anderson Park Improvements to the Neighborhood Pride Program.
Section 2. The City’s Fiscal Year 2022/23 budget shall be amended as follows:

215-70-720-964-6062 Residential Rehabilitation/ $220,000.00 (increase)
Neighborhood Pride Program
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy of
this resolution attached to the Fiscal Year 2022/23 budget on file, and effective as of June 6, 2023, the
same Shall be in force and effect.
