Building Needs & Assessment Committee
February 13, 2008
I. Call to order
Bob Miller called to order the regular meeting of the Town of Brewster: Building
Needs & Assessment Committee at 7:30pm on February 13th, 2008 in Brewster
Town Hall.
II. Roll call
The following persons were present: Bob Miller, Herb Montgomery, Don Poole,
Paul Bradford and Rich Kosinski
III. Approval of minutes from last meeting
Bob Miller distributed the minutes from the last meeting. The minutes were
approved as written.
IV. Open issues
a) Council on Aging
Akro & Varika are in the process of discussing window cant.
b) Stony Brook School
No update.
c) Eddy School
Three architects are available to determine the cost and scope of the
outside trim replacement. Town rules dictate that architects must be
involved in a project of this magnitude.
Bob will distribute RFP for trim replacement to Herb & Don.
d) Town Hall
Alternative Energy Committee met on 2/2; outcome uncertain.
e) HVAC Golf Pavilion
Waiting on bid documents since ]/1/2008. Bob will keep BNAC updated
of new developments.
f) Band Stand /Gazebo -Drummer Boy Park
No updates
g) Fire Station
A pre-bid briefing will be held on 2/19 @ l Oam.
Herb will be chairing the BNAC committee.
Bob will distribute hard copy of synopsis and previous studies.
h) Land for Tennis Courts, Ball Field & Basketball Courts
This will probably be combined with Fire Station discussions.
V. New business
No new business was brought before the committee.
VI. Adjournment
Bob Miller adjourned the meeting at 8:15 pm.
