March 12, 2008
I. Call to order
Chazlie Sumner called to order the regulaz meeting of the Town of Brewster:
Building Needs and Assessment Committee at 7:30pm on Mazch 12th, 2008 in
Brewster Town Hall.
II. Roll call
The following committee members were present: Charlie Sumner, Jeff Tubman,
Herb Montgomery, Don Poole, Paul Bradford and Rich Kosinski
III. Anuroval of minutes from last meetinn
Charlie Sumner distributed the minutes from the last meeting. The minutes were
approved as written.
IV. Open issues
a) Council on Aging -Window Replacement
One window has been installed, additional window installation to proceed.
b) Stony Brook School
Room climate controls are deficient and should be considered for
replacement. The controls are part of the original installation.
c) Eddy School
Exterior trim replacement -Committee members met with architects:
AKRO, Kelleher and, Keenan & Kenny. Design bidding & construction
management will run around $16k.
d) Town Hall - HVAC Replacement
Chazlie working on costs /estimates for different heating options.
e) HVAC -Golf Pavilion
Waiting on bid documents since 1/1/2008. Bob will keep BNAC updated
of new developments.
fl Band Stand /Gazebo -Drummer Boy Park
Gazebo - No update
Roof - 2 quotes received. Waiting to hear from Cape Tech and for
additional quote.
g) Fire Station
In the process of reviewing proposals and limiting the number of
architectural candidates to five.
b) Land for Tennis Courts, Ball Field and Basketball Courts
This will probably be combined with Fire Station discussions.
V. New business
No new business was brought before the committee.

Charlie adjourned the meeting at 8:55 pm.
