ACCEPTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, RELEASING THE
PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES AND APPROVING
MAINTENANCE GUARANTEES FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
AT TAVISTOCK FARMS SECTIONS 9, ll&12, 14, 18, AND
13/19/20/21
WHEREAS, Arcadia Development Company, the developer of Tavistock Farms Sections
9, 1 l&12, 14, 18, and 13/19/20/21 has completed the public improvements in accordance with
approved plans and town standards and these have been inspected and approved; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends accepting the
public improvements and approving a maintenance guarantee for Tavistock Farms Sections 9,
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The corporate surety bonds from The American Insurance Company in the
amount of $38,580.00 for Section 9; in the amount of $144,964.00 for Section 1 l&12; in the
amount of $99,806.00 for Section 14; in the amount of $282,414.00 for Section 18; and in the
amount of $205,041.00 for Section 13/19/20/21 are released, and a new security in a form
approved by the town attorney for a maintenance guarantee in the amount of $9,644.95 for
Section 9; in the amount of $44,134.70 for Section ll&12; in the amount of $11,543.92 for
Section 14; in the amount of $17,800.20 for Section 18; and in the amount of $81,854.70 for
Section 13/19/20/21.are approved, and shall be in effect for a period of one year from this date.

SECTION II. This release is contingent upon delivery of a properly executed instrument
conveying unto the town all such improvements and easements free of any liens or charges.
