AWARDING CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
SERVICES FOR THE RUNWAY 17-35 REHABILITATION
AND MISCELLANEOUS IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT TO
CAMPBELL AND PARIS ENGINEERS FOR $34,973
WHEREAS, the Runway 17-35 Rehabilitation and Miscellaneous Improvements
Project is fully funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Virginia
Department of Aviation (DOAV), and Town of Leesburg and administered by the town;
and
WHEREAS, on November 9, 2004 the Town Council approved two resolutions,
one to award the construction contract to Chemung Contracting Corporation and the second
one to award the construction management contract to L. Robert Kimball & Associates;
and
WHEREAS, it is to the towns' best interest to retain the services of the engineer of
record during construction to provide engineering review and other services; and
WHEREAS, Campbell and Paris Engineers are the engineer of record on this
project; and
WHEREAS, the negotiated fee for contract administration services for Campbell
and Paris Engineers is $34,973; and
WHEREAS, Campbell and Paris Engineers has an existing general services
contract with the town, and the construction administration for this project will be added by
contract addendum No. 7.

CAMPBELL AND PARIS ENGINEERS FOR $34,973
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
Section I. the construction administration services for the Runway 17-35
Rehabilitation and Miscellaneous Improvements Project is hereby awarded to Campbell
and Pads Engineers, in the negotiated, not to exceed amount of $34,973.
Section II. The Town Manager is authorized to execute this contract addendum No.
PASSED this 9th day of November.
