HomeMy Public PortalAbout2004_11_23_r195The Town of Leesburg, Virginia RESOLUTION NO, 2004-195 PRESENTED November 23, 2004 ADOPTED November 23, 2004 A RESOLUTION: ESTABLISHING AN AD-HOC COMMITTEE FOR THE LOWENBACH SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, there has been a recommendation made by Town Council to establish an ad-hoc committee consisting of representatives from the Lowenbach Subdivision, town staff, the project consulting engineer, and a representative from the Standing Residential Traffic Committee to evaluate options that are consistent with the Northeast Leesburg Street Improvements project objective; and WHEREAS, the Northeast Leesburg Street Improvement objective is to ensure that the roads will be safer for pedestrian and vehicular traffic if the barricades are removed; and WHEREAS, this committee would meet and discuss design options that would lessen the impact on the neighborhood if the barricades are removed and conclude on recommendations that would then be brought back for Town Council consideration by February 7, 2004; and THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows: SECTION I: The following residents are appointed to the Lowenbach ad-hoc committee: Suzanne Arthur, Wendy Overton, Gael,fn Robinson, Elizabeth Krieger, A RESOLUTION: -2- ESTABLISHING AN AD-HOC COMMITTEE FOR THE LOWENBACH SUBDIVISION Chuck Jones, Paul Wimer, Peter Comonduras, Paul Kriengold, Kim Domin, Noyal Aktug, Carolyn Snyder and Dan Hyatt. SECTION II: The committee's recommendations will be brought back for Town Council consideration by February 7, 2005. SECTION III: The Northeast Leesburg Street Improvement design will be put on hold temporarily. PASSED this 23rd of November 2004. K~s~n C.
