A RESOLUTION: APPROVING THE ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN
LOUDOUN COUNTY AND THE TOWN OF LEESBURG
WHEREAS, under state law an agreement is necessary for Loudoun County to continue to
provide animal control services within the town; and
WHEREAS, the county has approved such an agreement, entitled "Animal Control Services
Agreement Between the County of Loudoun, Virginia and the Town of Leesburg, Virginia," in the form
attached hereto (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager, Police Chief and Town Attorney have approved the form of the
Agreement.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The Agreement is approved and the Town Manager is authorized to sign it in a
form approved by the Town Attorney.
