Call to order:
Herb Montgomery called to order the regular meeting of the Town of Brewster Building
Needs & Assessment Committee at 7:30 pm on December 10, 2008 in the Brewster
Town Hall.
Roll call:
The following were present: Herb Montgomery, Paul Bradford and Don Poole.
Minutes:
The Minutes of October 8, 2008 were reviewed and approved unanimously by the
committee. (The November meeting was cancelled due to a lack of quorum).
Fire Station Project:
The Fire Station project design fees are on hold pending action at the May Town
Meeting.
Town Hall HVAC Project:
The engineer Rise Engineering may be here next week to meet with Jill Douglass and
Charlie Sumner. Jill will contact the committee by e-mail and members were encouraged
to attend the meeting if at all possible.
HVAC Golf Pavilion:
This project went out to bid recently; there was a contested bid which was resolved in
favor of the town. The low bid of $76.000.00 was awarded and construction is expected
to get underway in January 2009.
Bob Miller is overseeing this project and will see it through to its completion; he will
keep us informed of the progress and any onsite meetings that we should attend.
Paul Bradford made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Don Poole; the meeting was
adjourned at 7:45 pm.
