A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARSON CITY COUNCIL AMENDING THE FISCAL
YEAR 2022-23 BUDGET IN THE GENERAL FUND AND SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS
FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE FORD F-250 TRUCK
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year 2022-23 (FY22-23) budget on June
21, 2022 for the General Fund and Special Revenue Funds of the City via Resolution No. 22-070;
and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department desires to purchase a fleet vehicle for daily
work assignments and to provide the best service, in a safe and efficient manner.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it necessary to amend the FY2022-23
General Fund budget to authorize the use of funds from a Department Budget Transfer via
resolution to purchase a fleet vehicle from National Auto Fleet Group.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE, AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following transfer(s) will be made to the City’s FY2022-23 budget.
Increase/(Decrease)
101-80-840-281-6004 General Fund ($54,490.73)
638-99-999-999-8003 Vehicles/Rolling Inventory $54,490.73
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall keep a copy of
this resolution attached to the FY2022-23 budget on file, and effective as of February 7, 2023,
the same shall be in force and effect.
