A RESOLUTION: INITIATING AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO ADD A
DECIBEL-BASED NOISE ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Leesburg, Virginia desires to initiate an
amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to add a decibel-based noise ordinance; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of the initiation of the proposed amendment; and
WHEREAS, the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practice
justify the initiation of the proposed amendment.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg, in Virginia as
follows:
