PLACE: Riverdale City Hall, 110 Manor Drive, Riverdale, Iowa
DATE: February 25, 2020 TIME: 7:00 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Michael Bawden called the Hearing to order at 7:00 P.M.
WELCOME and ROLL CALL: The following City Council Members were Present: Kevin Adams,
Paul D'Camp, Anthony Heddlesten, Kelly Krell, and Doug Littrel. Also present were Lisa Kotter,
Interim City Administrator, George Miller, City Maintenance, Floyd Bruns, Fire Chief and Chris Cooper,
MSA, City Engineer, and Kristal Schaefer, Scott County Library.
Pledge of Allegiance followed Roll Call.
APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA. Mayor Bawden stated that recording secretary has all information on
Warrants documentation for anyone that needs to review. Krell requested adding to the next meeting
agenda the Easter Egg Hunt on April 41h at 2:00 P.M. in Haven's Acres. Kotter stated the P&Z meeting is
scheduled for March 11.
Public Hearing and Comment on the 2020-2021 MAX LEVY HEARING —RESOLUTION 2020-21,
A RESOLUTION FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2021 MAXIMUM
PROPERTY TAX DOLLARS. Mayor Bawden, assisted by Lisa Kotter, presented a power-point
presentation of the fiscal year 2021 Maximum Property Tax Levy. Questions and answers followed.
Moved by Littrel, seconded by Heddlesten to approve Resolution 2020-21, A Resolution for the Approval
of the fiscal year 2021 Maximum Property Tax Dollars including the "Total maximum levy for affected
property tax levies - $400,000.00.
ROLL CALL VOTE: Littrel - AYE, Heddlesten—AYE, Krell—AYE, D'Camp—AYE, Adams—AYE.
Passed and approved this 25th Day of February 2020.
Moved by Heddlesten, seconded by D'Camp to close the Public Hearing at 7:47 P.M. ALL AYES.
MOTION CARRIED.
