GUARANTEES

PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, RELEASING THE
GUARANTEES AND APPROVING MAINTENANCE
FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AT NORTHLAKE
SECTIONS 5 AND 6
WHEREAS, Brookfield Wa-~hington, Inc. (formerly Coscan Washington, Inc.), the developer of
Northlake Sections 5 and 6 has eomplcted the public improvements in accordance with approved plans
and town standards and these have been inspected and approved; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends accepting the public
improvements and approving maintenance guarantees for Northlake Sections 5 and 6.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The corporate surety bonds from the American Home Assurance Company in the
amount of $14,594.29 for Section 5; and in the amount of $12,428.90 for Section 6 are released, and a
new security in a form approved by the town attorney for maintenance guarantees in the amount of
$7,297.14 for Soction 5; and in the amount of $621.45 for Section 6 are approved, and sb~l be in effect
for a period of one year from this date.
SECTION II. This release is contingent upon delivery of a properly exccuted instrument
conveying unto the town all such improvements and easements free of any liens or charges.
