RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Carson Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency"') proposes to enter into an Amendment to the Land Disposition and Development Agreement dated September 7, 1978 with Carson Venture for the sale of those certain parcels of real property more particularly described in said Amendment, attached hereto as Exhibit A and by this reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the Agency and the City Council of the City ~of Carson, pursuant to notice duly given, have held a full and fair joint public hearing on said Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Agency and City Council have made available for public inspection and copying at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Carson, a copy of said Amendment and summary thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED BY THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS FOLLOWS:
section 1. The Agency hereby finds and determines that the consideration to be paid by Carson Venture in accordance with covenants and conditions of said Amendment is not less than the estimated fair market value of the parcels conveyed.
Section 2. The Agency hereby finds and determines that the performance of said Amendment is necessary to effectuate the purposes of the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project Area No. 2. |
Section 3. The Agency hereby approves said Amendment, and the Chairman and Executive Director are authorized and directed to execute same. :
