RESOLUTION NO. 2005-70 ADOPTED April 12, 2005
A RESOLUTION: AWARD OF THE CONTINUING SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
PLANNING, ENGINEERING, AND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
FOR THE LEESBURG EXECUTIVE AIRPORT TO CH2M HILL, INC.
WHEREAS, in response to a solicitation for the continuing services contract for
planning, engineering, and architectural services for the Leesburg Executive Airport, six
proposals were received from the following firms:
· AB Consultants, Inc.
· Campbell & Paris Engineers
· CH2M HILL, Inc.
· Delta Airport Consultants, Inc.
· L. Robert Kimball & Associates
· Talbert & Bright, Inc.
WHEREAS, all proposals were evaluated by a selection committee in accordance with
the requirements of the Town's Purchasing Policy and the requirements of the Request for
Proposals; and
WHEREAS, the committee selected CH2M HILL, Inc. as the top ranked firm; and
WHEREAS, this contract will be for continuing services with an initial period of three
(3) years and renewable for up to two (2) additional consecutive periods of one (1) year; and
WHEREAS, the overall scope of work includes providing planning, engineering, and
architectural services for the Leesburg Executive Airport, providing professional consultation
and advice, and furnishing customary civil, structural, mechanical, environmental, and electrical
engineering services and customary architectural services; and

PLANNING, ENGINEERING, AND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
FOR THE LEESBURG EXECUTIVE AIRPORT TO CH2M HILL, INC.
WHEREAS, the Director of Office of Capital Projects Management and the Airport
Director recommend the award of the contract to CH2M HILL, Inc.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to execute a continuing services contract, in a form approved by the
environmental, and electrical
Town Attorney, for planning, civil, structural, mechanical,
engineering services with CH2M HILL, Inc.
