A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE TREASURER TO INVEST
AND REINVEST SURPLUS FUNDS
THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 53607, Article I, Chapter 4, Part I, Division 2 of Title 5 of the Government Code of the State of California, the Carson Redevelopment Agency hereby delegates to the Treasurer the authority fo invest or reinvest surplus funds of the Agency and to sell or exchange securities so purchased.
SECTION 2. The Treasurer shall assume full responsibility for such transactions and shall make a monthly report of such transactions to the Agency.
SECTION 3. The Treasurer shall only invest or reinvest such surplus funds in bonds, notes, warrants, registered warrants, bills, certificates of indebtedness or other legal investments as provided in Sections 53601 and 53602 of the Government Code.
