RESOLUTION NO. 78-5
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR AVALON BOULEVARD WIDENING FROM SEPULVEDA TO BONDS (PROJECT NO. 177) AND AVALON BOULEVARD WIDENING AT AT & SF RAILROAD CROSSING (PROJECT NO. 222) IN THE CITY OF CARSON
WHEREAS, the Agency Secretary did, pursuant to order of the Agency on January 5, 1978, publicly receive, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing work and improvement described in Resolution No. 77-92 which Resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and improvement and for all particulars relative to proceedings; and
WHEREAS, due notice inviting bids and setting a date for the opening of bids has been duly posted as prescribed by law and as provided in Resolution No. 77-92: and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Carson, on the 16th day of January, 1978, did publicly receive, examine and declare Said proposals or bids as reported by the City Administrator.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AS FOLLOWS:
section 1. Acceptance and Rejection of Bids. That the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Carson hereby awards the contract for doing said work and making said improvements to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
C. W.-POSS, INC.
at the price named in the bid of said bidder on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and it does reject all other bids or proposals, effective upon execution of the Agency Contract by said low bidder.
Section 2. Execution of Contract. The Director of Public Works is hereby directed to prepare the contract and forward it to the City Attorney for approval as to form and the Agency Chairman is hereby directed to enter into contract.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this, 16th day of January, 1978.
