A RESOLUTION: 2005-79 PRESENTED April 26, 2005 ADOPTED April 26, 2005 FOR WOODLEA AUTHORIZING A WATER SERVICE CONNECTION MANOR CONSERVANCY IRRIGATION SYSTEM WHEREAS, the Woodlea Manor development is located within the corporate boundary of the town, thereby supporting the general tax base of the town; and WHEREAS, water and sewer services for the entire Woodlea Manor development are provided by the Town of Leesburg; and WHEREAS, recent failure of the Woodlea Manor Conservancy's irrigation well for the "southern entrance" landscaped area has prompted their request for a water service connection from the town for the entrance feature lying outside the corporate boundary; and WHEREAS, the landscaped area is an accessory use to the Woodlea Manor development, the principal use, located within the Town's corporate limits; THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows: The Town Council hereby authorizes connection of the Woodlea Manor Conservancy's "southern entrance" irrigation system, consistent with the Council's policy on utilities extensions, in that, the connection is considered an "in-town" service connection and subject to "in-town" rates.
