A RESOLUTION: PRESENTED April 26, 2005 2005-80 ADOPTED April 26, 2005 EXPANDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE LOUDOUN STREET CITIZENS TASK FORCE AND CLARIFYING MEMBER PARTICIPATION WHEREAS, Town Council created a Loudoun Street Citizens Task Force by Resolution No. 2005-61 that consists of members of the community appointed by the Town Council; and WHEREAS, the primary function of the Loudoun Street Citizens Task Force is to provide a vehicle for community input on a public/private partnership approach for the Loudoun Street property; and WHEREAS, it is Council's desire to clarify participation of Task Force members so as to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to expand the citizen membership of the Task Force; and WHEREAS, a vacancy exists due to the resignation of Joe Boling. THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia, the Loudoun Street Citizens Task Force shall add the following additional members: Chuck Wilson (Commercial Lender) Jim Bowman (Commercial Lender) Paul Reimers (Local Builder) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that they may participate in a competitive solicitation for participation in a Loudoun Street project and would not be able to participate in the second phase of the project. 2 A RESOLUTION: EXPANDING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE LOUDOUN STREET CITIZENS TASK FORCE AND CLARIFYING MEMBER PARTICIPATION PASSED this 26th day of April 2005.
