COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
Meeting Minutes
February 13, 2008
Chairman Elliott Carr called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM.
Members present were; Paul Hush, Elizabeth Taylor, Roland Bassett Jr., Paul Ruchinskas,
Jeanne Boehm, William Reyburn and Roy Robinson.
Member missing was; Michael Lach.
1. Minutes of January 23, 2008 not complete.
2. Brewster Meeting House Preservation Project
Total project estimate is 1.5 million, asking for $250,000 from CPC
They have established a separate corporation to deal with this project.
Preliminary discussion in 2 weeks (Feb 27)
3. Housing-
Needs assessment -draft with action plan is ready.
Housing Subcommittee will meet Thursday, March 6 at 4pm -discussion
4. Accounting discussion- not much changed
Paul Hush to meet with Lisa Souve -state CPC manual and following DOR
regulations
5. Other business
A. Bills: CPA Coalition $2500.00
Housing Plan $5750.00 balance
Motion made by Roland Bassett Jr.to pay both these bills
Second by-Paul Hush.
VOTE: 8-0-0
B. Articles for Town Meeting- discussion: Windmill Preservation
payment/finished in 2008, paid in 2009 FY
C. Letter from DOR-how administrative funds can be used, careful with
wording.
