AMENDING THE FY 2005 BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING AN
ADDITIONAL $3,080 FROM A VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF
FORESTRY GRANT FOR THE URBAN FORESTRY MANAGEMENT
MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Forestry has awarded a grant to the Town of
Leesburg for completing its Urban Forestry Management Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, the originally estimated cost of $35,000 for the plan was appropriated,
$10,000 of which came from the aforementioned grant; and
WHEREAS, the plan will be completed by the Davey Resource Group for $38,080 or
$3,080 more than originally estimated and budgeted; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Forestry grant will cover the additional cost.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The FY 2005 Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation is made in the
amount of $3,080 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005, as follows:
a. From the Virginia Department of Forestry Grant $3,080 is received and appropriations
of $3,080 are made to the Department of Planning, Zoning and Development FY 2005
Budget for the payment of Davey Resource Group's fee for completing the Urban
Forestry Management Master Plan.
