Meeting Minutes
May 14, 2008
Chairman Elliott Carr called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM.
Members present were; Roland Bassett Jr., Paul Hush, Roy Robinson, Jeanne Boehm
and Elizabeth Taylor
Member missing was; Paul Ruchinskas, Michael Lach, and William Reyburn
1. Minutes of April 23, 2008 were presented with changes
Motion to accept Minutes of March 26, 2008 was made by Roy Robinson
Second by Elizabeth Taylor
VOTE 6-0-0.
2. Cape Rep
Now in the hands of Janine Perry for review.
3. Housing Plan
Not ready yet
4. Latham project
Paul Ruchinskas communicating Jackie Corchesne
5. Future ~roiects
a) any known grants coming in?
b) Meeting House - 2 months from application date.
c) Historical Society- Blacksmith and Apothecary buildings offered for free. Possible move
to HS property
d) Fire Museum property-speak to Charlie Sumner about possible town acquisition.
e) deadline for Fall TM is July 1
f) Latham-historic restoration
g) Millsites Committee
h) Surf chair
i) Increase amount for housing buy down
j) Proposed tennis courts; both uses on same property
k) An affordable housing project
I) Propose consideration of Assistant to the Planner for housing (accessory apartment
Bylaw)
