Meeting Minutes
May 28, 2008
Chairman Elliott Carr called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM.
Members present were; Paul Hush, Roy Robinson, Jeanne Boehm, Paul Ruchinskas
and Elizabeth Taylor
Member missing was;, Michael Lach, Roland Bassett Jr. and William Reyburn
1. Minutes of May 14, 2008 were presented with changes
Motion to accept Minutes of May 14, 2008 was made by Paul Hush
Second by Roy Robinson
VOTE 5-0-1.
2. Cape Rep Update
Janine Perry has showed the contract to the Board of Cape Rep
It is being reviewed by their legal advisors.
Will be back to CPC by the next meeting.
3. Housin
a. Paul will contact Jackie re: contract for BHA/Latham project
b. discussion of rentals v. buydowns (create a forum on theses issues with Town
c. Brewster Housing Partnership- investigate 3 town owned properties'
d. Sub Committee to look at latest revision of housing plan and strategies (next
meeting), then public forum for feedback
4. Other
a. Slough Road- problem with engineering, ribbon cutting Sunday, June1
b. RE: Fire Museum buildings- discussion between Historic and Town
Historic will present an application regarding moving the Blacksmiths House
c. June 11th meeting for Housing- focus on the housing plan
June 25th-regular meeting
