COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
Meeting Minutes
]uly 9, 2008
Chairman Elliott Carr called the meeting to order at 4:45 PM.
Members present were; Paul Ruchinskas, Jeanne Boehm, Roy Robinson,
and Elizabeth Taylor
Members missing were; William Reyburn, Paul Hush, Michael Lach and Roland Bassett Jr.
1. Approval of Minutes of June 25, 2008
Motion by Paul Ruchinskas to approve as presented.
Second by Jeanne Boehm.
VOTE 5-0-0
2. Committee Reorganization
Put on HOLD until further date when all members are present.
Bill Reyburn has resigned as the Housing Authority representative to CPC.
Another will be appointed by the Housing Authority.
3. Applications
Potential of $600,000 of Historical applications
The 3 applications received should be sent to Brewster Historical Commission for review.
CPC is asking them to rank them.
All have non-historic issues to overcome.
Applications submitted;
A. Stony Brook Mill Sites Committee
B. Latham Centers Inc
C. Brewster Historical Society
Motion by Paul Ruchinskas to send these three (3) applications to Brewster Historical Commission
For review, to rank and discuss our issues.
Second by Elizabeth Taylor
VOTE: 5-0-0
4. Housin
July 22 meeting for further discussion with Town officials
Next Meeting: August 13
Motion to adjourn by Roy Robinson, Second by Jeanne Boehm. VOTE 5-0-0.
