RESOLUTION NO. 2005-113 ADOPTED July 12, 2005
A RESOLUTION: ENDORSING THE TOWN STAFF RECOMMENDATION OF DENIAL
FOR THE CROSSTRAIL ZMAP 2005-0011 APPLICATION
WHEREAS, on April 26, 2005 Loudoun County referred the Crosstrail rezoning
application, ZMAP-2005-0011, to the Town for review and comment; and
WHEREAS, according to the Annexation Area Development Policies, the County
solicits Town comments on applications within the Joint Land Management Area
(JLMA); and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the application in accordance with the 1997 Town
Plan and other applicable policies; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified deficiencies in the application as it relates to the 1997
Town Plan and other applicable Town policies; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the staff memo that will be forwarded to the
County regarding Crosstrail ZMAP 2005-0011 and agrees with the analysis and
conclusions therein; and
WHEREAS, the Council has indicated by a previous resolution its' intent to pursue a
boundary line adjustment of this property.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that
it hereby endorses the staff's recommendation of denial for Crosstrail rezoning

application ZMAP 2005-0011 and directs the staffto transmit said report and a copy of
this resolution to Loudoun County.
