Meeting Minutes
September 24, 2008
Chairman Elliott Carr called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM.
Members present were; Jeanne Boehm, Roy Robinson, Paul Hush and Elizabeth Taylor
Members missing were; Michael Lach. Roland Bassett Jr. and Paul Ruchinskas.
1. Approval of Minutes of August 27 2008
Motion by Roy Robinson to approve as presented.
Second by Jeanne Boehm
VOTE 5-0-0
2. Town Meeting Article Discussion
Historic Preservation
a. Stony Brook Mill Sites (Restoration/Preservation of Grist Mill)- $100,000 approved
b. Brewster Historical Society (Move/Repair Blacksmith Shop)- $ 50,000 approved
c. Brewster Historical Society (Repair/Restoration of Barn)- $ 30,000 approved
d. Brewster Historical Society(new building to house Apothecary Shop) -withdrawn
MOTION made by Paul Hush to approve 1b as it stands.
Second by Elizabeth Taylor
VOTE 5-0-0
MOTION by Paul Hush to approve 1c as stated.
Second by Roy Robinson
