HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolutions-2007-34CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA RESOLUTION NO. 2007- 34 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 'FINAL PLAT OF DEER VIEW ESTATES PART ONE, A- SUBDIVISION OF TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA WHEREAS, Alof for A lot, L.L.C. and IPL Development, L.L.C., hereinafter referred to as Owners/ Subdividers, have filed with the City` Clerk of the City` of, Tiffin , Iowa, an application for approval of the -final plat of Deer View Estates 'Subdivision, Part One, a .subdivision of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa, which is legally described as follows: See attached Exhibit "A" hereby incorporated herein, WHEREAS, the City Engineer has examined the final plat of:- said subdivision and recommends to the council, approval of the same; and WHEREAS, the City Attorney has examined the final plat and the - required legal documents and recommends to the council, approval of the same; and WHEREAS, the City and the Owners/ Subdividers, their successors and assigns, have reduced to .terms a "Subdivider's Agreement" for the subdivision; and ' w. WHEREAS, the final plat is -found to conform ..with- all of the requirements of the city's ordinances; "WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin will -benefit from the creation of new housing stock; Y NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute" such documents as necessary to approve the final plat as submitted and as approved by the City Engineer and City Attorney, and further' that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the legal documents submitted with the Final Plat .-as a condition of 'Its approval., BE , IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said Owner/ Subdivider of this property shall bear'tle burden of'the cost to record this Resolution S:\Clients\Cities\Tiffin\SUBDIVISIONS\bEERVI]E / ESTATES 205\Subdivision Documents\RESO FINAL PLAT APPROV AL.doc Lase printed 7/6/2007;12124 PM kd #2007-34 and subsequent legal documents with the Office of the Johnson County Recorder. k ON THE l lth day of July, 2007, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Petersen introduced A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF DEER VIEW ESTATES PART ONE, A SUBDIVISION OF TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA, and made a motion for approval. The motion was ,seconded by Councilperson Wright A �Ayes4 Petersen, -Bartels, Wright and Demuth Nay's: Dils Motion carried. M WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION APPROVING` 'THE- FINAL. PLAT OF DEER VIEW ESTATES PART ONE, A ' SUBDIVISION OF TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
