COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
Meeting Minutes
December 10, 2008
Chairman Elliott Carr called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM.
Members present were; Jeanne Boehm, Roy Robinson, Paul Hush, Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Ruchinskas
and Roland Bassett Jr.
Member missing: Michael Lach
1. Applications
• Brewster Cemetery- requesting $12,000.00
Referred to Historic for review
• Possible; Open Space and Recreation
2. Housing Fund Issues
Application Process
• If application exists
• Will Town Planner handle this? Or Jillian?
Marketing
Advertising with partnership, draft guidelines, back to CPC
Manage applications
Interview
• Come to CPC
Discussion
Do we want to get more aggressive?
Keep process flexible.
Limits; $50,000 with flexibility
New set of guidelines moving away from local preference
3. Other Issues
• Agassi Road- "do not have access"
Either purchase an easement or vacant lot to provide easement
Will not restrict the study
• Study- 1) Stony Brook-Underpass 2) Millstone-15 acre parcel
• Continue -Paul Hush and Paul Ruchinskas with issues
Dick Heaton sent report-will get together with Paul H.+ Paul R.
• Tennis deadline is end of January. Underpass Road should be done quickly and presented to
the Selectmen.
