Brittany Caldwell Appreciation
WHEREAS, Brittany Caldwell has been an essential part of the Bothell Kenmore
Chamber of Commerce since starting as a part-time Marketing Manager in 2007 and,
after three promotions over the years, ascending to Executive Director in 2016; and
WHEREAS, Brittany’s leadership helped the Chamber grow and evolve both
exponentially and innovatively, including rebranding from the Greater Bothell
Chamber to the Bothell Kenmore Chamber, solidifying the important connection of
our two communities; and
WHEREAS, over the past 15 years, Brittany’s accomplishments have included growing
Chamber membership 35% to now serve nearly 400 local businesses, establishing new
outreach opportunities, producing over 100 annual events, and developing hundreds
of relationships with businesses that have raised profits, skills and morale for Chamber
members, while keeping membership dues among the lowest in the region; and
WHEREAS, Brittany served on the City of Bothell’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
since April, 2016 and was integral in building the new brand and website for Bothell’s
tourism program; and
WHEREAS, Brittany is known for her vibrancy, high level of optimism and encouraging
nature; and
WHEREAS, Brittany’s leadership and partnership will be sincerely missed and we wish
Brittany all the best in her future endeavors.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Mason Thompson, do hereby proclaim the City of Bothell’s
appreciation to Brittany Caldwell for her many contributions to the City of Bothell and
our greater community.
