AUTHORIZ/NG AN AMENDMENT TO THE EMPLOYMENT
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL AND
TOWN MANAGER JOHN A. WELLS
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. In accordance with Paragraph No. 4 of the Town Manager's employment
contract, a five percent performance increase is approved in the Town Manager's annual salary by
the Mayor and Town Council effective October 1, 2005.
SECTION II. The Mayor of the Town of Leesburg on behalf of the Leesburg Town
Council is hereby authorized to amend Paragraph No. 5(c) of the Town Manager's employment
contract to reflect a change in the 457 Deferred Compensation.
The necessary appropriation of funds is authorized to be made from within
