AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2329-1968, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
"SPECIAL USE" IN ACCORDANCE 14ITH ARTICLE 48 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana has enacted
Ordinance No. 2329-1968 authorizing a "Special Use" pursuant to Ordinance
No. 2325-1968 commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Rich-
mond, Indiana, and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance provided for the construction of an 118 bed nursing
home to be located at 2070 Chester Boulevard, Richmond, Indiana, and more
particularly described as follows:
A part of the south half of the southeast quarter of Section
Twenty (20), Township Fourteen (14), Range one (1) West. Be-
ginning 548.18 feet west of the northeast corner of said south
half of said southeast quarter section thence west 1079.82
feet to a marked stone; thence south 45 degrees west 1.41 rods
to a marked stone; thence south 27.9 rods to a marked stone;
thence east 1096.32 feet to a stake; thence north 28.9 rods
to the place of beginning; containing in all twelve (12) acres.
WHEREAS, it is the intent of this Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 2329-1968
to permit the construction of an addition to the existing structure as shown
by copy of site plan attached, marked Exhibit "A" and made a part of this Ordinance.
WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City Plan
Commission theme day of 1978, at which time remon-
strances were heard from all parties intere ted or affected by this Ordinance,
and the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was �_ to n in
favor of recommending passage.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that Ordinance No. 2329-1968 is hereby amended to permit the con-
struction as shown in Exhibit "A" attached and made part of this Ordinance.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval by the Mayor and publication as by law required.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this
