A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF TIF FUNDS FOR FINANCING THE ROBERTS
FERRY ROAD PROJECT.
WHEREAS the City Council notes that the improvement of Roberts Ferry
Road will' create an economic benefit to the City;
AND WHEREAS, the area of improvement of Roberts Ferry Road lies
mostly within the existing TIF district in the City;
AND WHEREAS, the Council desires use TIF funds for payment of the
Roberts Ferry Road project.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the
City Council hereby authorizes the use of TIF funds by the City for payment of
the Roberts Ferry Road improvement now underway in the City.
ON THE loth day of October 2007, at a regular meeting df the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson . n; 1 s introduced A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE USE OF TIF FUNDS FOR FINANCING THE ROBERTS FERRY ROAD
PROJECT, and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by
Councilperson Wright
Ayes: Demuth, Wright, Petersen, Dils and Bartels
Nays: None.
Motion carried.
WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE
OF TIF FUNDS FOR FINANCING THE ROBERTS FERRY ROAD PROJECT, be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
PASSED, by the Council on the' 10TH day of October 2007, and approved by the
Mayor on the 10th day. of October 200.
