ENDORSING THE TOWN STAFF RECOMMENDATION TO DENY
REZONING APPLICATION ZMAP 2005-0028 CREEKSIDE
WHEREAS, on November 15, 2005, Loudoun County referred rezoning application
ZMAP-2005-0028 Creekside to the Town for review and comment; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the application in terms of impacts on the Town and
relevant policies contained in the Loudoun County Revised General Plan; and
WHEREAS, in a letter dated February 14, 2006, staff has identified deficiencies in the
application and recommended that the application be denied; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the staff letter that will be forwarded to the
County regarding ZMAP 2005-0028 Creekside and agrees with the analysis and conclusions
· therein.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that it
hereby endorses the staff's recommendation of denial for rezoning application
ZMAP 2005-0028 Creekside and directs the staff to transmit said letter and a copy of this
resolution to Loudoun County.
