A RESOLUTION RELEASING ANY LIEN OR CLOUD UPON TITLE
FOR ANY LOTS IN TIFFIN INDUSTRIAL PARK, A SUBDIVSION
OF TIFFIN, IOWA ARISING FROM THE SUBDIVIDER'S
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE SUBDIVIDER
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin entered into a Subdivider's Agreement with
the Iowa City Excavating & Grading, Inc., the Subdivider/Owner of Tiffin
Industrial Park, a subdivision of Tiffin, Iowa, dated January 14, 2004, recorded
November 18, 2004, in Book 3816, Page 823, records of the Recorder of
Johnson County, Iowa,
WHEREAS, the Subdivider's Agreement requires installation of certain
public improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Subdivider's Agreement provides that upon completion of
satisfactory installation of the infrastructure by the Subdivider/Owner, the City
will acknowledge full compliance with the requirements of the Agreement and
City ordinances; and
WHEREAS, City Engineer, Michael W. Hart, has examined the
installation of the public improvements and finds the work to be satisfactory
and has previously recommended approval and acceptance by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa, that
it releases Tiffin Industrial Park and any lot therein from a lien or cloud upon
the title placed thereon by a certain Subdivider's Agreement entered into with
the Subdivider.
ON THE Lothday ofpctaber 2007, at a (regular/ special) meeting of the
Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Wr i gh t introduced A
RESOLUTION RELEASING ANY LIEN OR CLOUD UPON TITLE FOR ANY
LOTS IN TIFFIN INDUSTRIAL PARK, A SUBDIVSION OF- TIFFIN, IOWA
ARISING FROM THE SUBDIVIDER'S AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
AND THE SUBDIVIDER, and made a motion for approval. The motion was
seconded by Councilperson Bare}ls
Ayes: Bartels, Wright, Dils, Petersen, and DeMuth
Nays: None-

WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the A RESOLUTION RELEASING ANY
LIEN OR CLOUD UPON TITLE FOR ANY LOTS IN TIFFIN INDUSTRIAL
PARK, A SUBDIVSION OF TIFFIN, IOWA ARISING FROM THE
SUBDIVIDER'S AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE SUBDIVIDER,
be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
PASSED, by the Council on the 1 nday of October 2007, and
approved by the Mayor on the 10 day of October 2007.
