RESOLUTION NO. 2007-.6 -7
RESOLUTION TO APPROVING STREET NAME CHANGE WITHIN THE
DEERVIEW SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa has noted redundancy of street name within
the Deer View Subdivision plat;'and.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiffin has reviewed and the developer
Manager Mark Portwood has reviewed revision for the purpose of reducing confusion for'
addressing purposes within the Deer View Subdivision as follows: Deer View Street to
N. Deer View Avenue, Blue Jay Court to N. Dakota Avenue, the east -west sector of
Fawn Street to W. Jackson Street, the north -south sector of Fawn Street to N. Fawn
Avenue, Doe Street to N. Doe Avenue, and Buck Avenue to W. Buck Street.
WHEREAS, the City has received no objections to the proposed -name changes, and the
City has no other or significant concerns related to public safety, traffic safety,or the cost
of changing street signs, now
THEREFORE, BE IT APPROVED that the City Council directs the City Clerk to publish
a public notice informing the public of this action and to direct work to secure new street
signs and to inform all applicable government units of the street name changes.
